There is nothing better than being part of something, no matter if it is a full factory team resplendent with liveried trucks and E-Z ups, or simply a group of mates propping up the back end of the BMX Track, being in a team is cool! But to be part of a team you need one crucial thing, custom jerseys!
Great news, we’ve finalised the designs with RSD!
“I started in 1999, when my uncles got me involved in it. It appealed to me so much because of the extreme side of it.”
Shanaze Reade – BMX World Champion 2010
The best female rider in the world likes her sports extreme and over the last 12 months RSD Sports followed her passion and become the UK’s premier BMX jersey manufacturer.
Working closely with several teams and clubs has allowed us to perfect a BMX race jersey that can keep up with the pace of racing at the highest levels. Tough enough to cope with crashes, light enough to keep riders cool and with a fit that can accommodate body armour if desired, the RSD race jersey is the one to have.
RSD Sports use a process of dye sublimation to achieve spectacular results. Intense colours and crisp clear graphics combine on durable fabrics that will look still great at the end of the season.
Cost of shirts to us are for the moment considering we’re only making very small orders to start with;
<£40 adult named
<£35 adult unnamed
<£34 kids named
<£29 kids unnamed
Advanced orders in cash directly from the club will be a little cheaper. Lead time is around 14 days
Sizes are to be confirmed, as are the initial order quantities for given sizes.
The BMX club cluster sessions start at the Olympic VeloPark, this Tuesday, February 17th, 7:30pm – 9pm.
Nathaniel Martin will kick-start the sessions which will then run every Tuesday (7pm – 9pm), with Saturday morning sessions (9am – 11am) also starting on March 7th.
Here’s a great way to get a ride on the best local track around… Well, that depends on where you live I suppose but if you are already a member of a London based BMX Club and you can get along either days or both you should make the trip. Thinking ahead, you could get some practice in for the London BMX Champs in October…
It also represents a good saving on the normal entry cost of Standard £15 Concession £9, although if your not a member of a club you might have to pay to sign up to your local club for the year go a few times and it’ll be worth it. Typical memberships cost vary from club to club but we’ll tell you how to get signed up for free soon…
There no mention of it to be seen so we’re assuming height (age over 10’s) isn’t a problem, Minimum height 127cm / 4ft 2in normally applies to VeloPark bookings so if you’re normally too small to rock up and ride this might just make your day.
Cost & equipment:
• £5.00 per person per session*
• £1.00 each for bike and/or helmet, if needed
• To hire equipment riders will have to complete the standard venue’s equipment hire form.
Riders will pay this fee at reception, and be given a wristband.
Volunteers at the track will check riders have a wristband before allowing them to sign in.
Riders should give their wristband back to the coach at the end of the session.
